Hello,

today for some reason my PC decided that everytime a sound plays, my keyboard and mouse get disconnected. I've already tried installing all latest drivers and stuff but couldn't manage to find the source of the problem.

I have a Logitech G430 headset which worked perfectly in the last year but today for some reason it causes issues with my keyboard (Labtec Ultra Flat Illuminated Tastatur) and mouse (Logitech M175). It also seems that 1 port is faulty or something that worked the last year but everytime I plug my headset in the specific one, and play sounds (which I can hear perfectly with my headset) my mouse and keyboard stop for as long as the sound plays. The port is located in my Dell monitor (16:10) that has 2 USB 2.0 ports on the side. However I tried plugging it directly into my PC but the error still occurs... and thats kind of sad since I have a beefy PC that I just reinstalled last month.

help pls.

I tried to fix this problem for 3 hours.

One does not simply plug monitor cables into USB ports. You're drawing a lot of power via USB, monitor ports aren't good quality. You'd do well to invest in a powered hub for very little!
