So my question is not just rx 480 vs gtx 1060, in that case I would go for 1060 as it is like 30$ more and more powerfull.
But! And here is the question. I got freesync ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor, because the hype about the 480 was .. meh. I really hoped it to OC upto 1.6 as AIB partner announced and to beat gtx 980 easily. So will rx 480 prove to be much better thanks to the option to use freesync thus enabling the LG monitor run 75Hz? IMO? Yes as I've read anything above 60 is huuuuuge improvement. But on the other hand .. NVIDIA has better drivers, 1060 is sometimes even ~15 fps more. That is a lot.
RX 480 is on par with gtx 970 which I consider well ... Not so good nowadays.
Games I play: WoW, LoL, Witcher 3, waiting for Mafia 3 ( biggest hype ever as I've never played a better game not to mention it is originally a Czech one ) and of course Overwatch. All MP games on hardcore lvl. And I care about both, performance and quality. So I am looking for the best smoothness in gameplay while also looking for the best visuals possible.

I am running w10 on i5 6600k at 4.6 Ghz, 16gb lpx 3200mhz ram and Samsung Evo SSD with Evga supernova GS 650 installed on asrock gaming fatal1ty k6.

as all my flatmates are "fapping" over Legion prepatch.
(Chrome for android) yeah I am definitely waiting for aftermarket solutions as I've heard reference cards from AMD are quite shi*ty. I am actualy waiting for MSI gaming x series as it is reviewed as the best of the best by YouTube reviewers providing some improvement over the reference while the others just make the cooling a bit quieter and better looking. Well of course that is as long as I am gonna pick the RX 480.
