My hard drive is a Toshiba Dt01ACA200 (2TB) (6gb/s). Yesterday I disconnected it and it left on of the sata III cables chipped, although I do have another one when I plug it in it says I only have 124 GB left... Although my PC has been resetted, I only have 4 files currently. Should I attempt to get a new one through my warranty? Or is there a fix to this? All input is appreciated. Thank you

Hey there, @pupovacs!

I'd recommend you backup all your data from the HDD somewhere else first. After making sure your data is safe and secure, copied elsewhere, I'd suggest you perform some basic troubleshooting to determine the source of the issue. You should start by running the tests from your HDD manufacturer's brand-specific diagnostic utility or a third-party alternative to determine the health and SMART status of the HDD.
Another thing you should try is swapping the SATA cable connecting the HDD and also check how it will get detected from another SATA port or even another PC altogether (if you have access to one). You might as well post some screenshots from Disk management in Windows to see how the drive is...

Keep me posted & good luck! :)
