Should I get a 115$ SSD or SSHD

SSDs are much faster. The way I'd decide is decide what your high priority data is, (for me, the games I play the most), and see how much space they need. If they're under 480gb, get the SSD, if not, the HDD

If it is for your primary drive alone then go for the SSD.
SSHD you mentioned is a laptop SSHD which means it will have worse performance than even a regular SSHD.
I would recommend you to get an SSD of lower storage and then use the extra money to get a regular 7200rpm HDD of high storage so as to use as a storage drive.

^ node only takes 2x 2.5 inch drives - which I think is the main issue here.
You simply can't fit a standard 3.5 inch 7200rpm platter drive in the case .

I agree though , while I might consider a 2.5inch sshd for a laptop , in your scenario I'd 100% stick with the 480gb ssd.
