Others can't connect to Counter-Strike server while using Ethernet cable

So, I have an odd little issue. I run a dedicated CS:GO server on my old laptop, and I have had an odd issue with other people being unable to connect to it while I have an Ethernet cable plugged in.

So I have my own PC, which uses an Ethernet cable plugged into the router (It doesn't have wireless capabilities, no WiFi card or WiFi usb stick so I can't check if it's conflicting with the issue without unplugging my the Ethernet cord, which makes it difficult to ask my friends to join afterwards for testing). Then I have my server, something small for friends, which currently has to run over a wireless connection. This, more than obviously, creates a bit of lag. It's not too bad but for an FPS getting small rubberbanding, even if infrequent, is annoying. While it's running and connected via WiFi, anyone can connect with no issue. When I plug in my Ethernet cable into it though, only I am able to join and all others get an error. I have been unable to find anyone with a similar issue using Google, and even at that I don't quite know what to search for just an obscure problem.

I terms of port forwarding I can't imagine anything changes when I plug it into my router, although I may definitely be wrong there, as I have pretty limited experience with this stuff.
