System wont boot/post after RAM upgrade!

*The reason this is in the GPU category is because I believe that the fault may be due to the GPU, since it keeps blinking (more description down below. If it's in the wrong category, could an admin please move it to the correct one. Thanks.

I ordered a set of RAM to put into the PC, in addition to what I had before (system below). So I disconnected the cables, installed the RAM and reconnected them. Now my system wouldn't even get into the bios. I somehow got a shock from both the HDMI and DVI cable I had connected to the GPU (2 monitors). Whilst my system turns on, this is what happens:
1) Everything powers on, with all the fans and devices connected too.
2) The GPU LED starts blinking as if it keeps disconnecting/connecting (I don't know)
3)System won't post
4) Debug LEDs keep alternating from 04 to 55 (this is "power on south bridge initialization" and "early memory initialization").

It should be noted that I connected the monitors to a laptop (what I'm currently using), with a different cable (still HDMI) and the monitors aren't faulty.

I've tried:
1) Disconnecting everything and reconnecting,
2) Changing the fuse on my extension cable,
3) Turned off and on household power via circuit breaker.
4) Put in a single stick of memory,
5) Changing what PCIE slot the GPU sits in,
6) Try a different GPU (OLD HD4850 I had lying around).
7) Switching to a different bios (onboard switch),
8) Using clear CMOS.

I don't know what to do, since I've done as much as I can without really getting into the system.
I understand that it could be any one of the GPU, RAM, motherboard and power supply but I'm not sure which, because my components are top quality. If you need any questions please ask.

Because Debug is cycling at "Early Memory Initialization", it can be assumed that it's an incompatible memory issue.

Did you mix the new RAM with sticks that were already in the system, or were they the only ones installed when it failed to POST?

Try taking the new memory out and putting the old memory back in, see what happens.

Did you make sure that the memory you bought is compatible with your motherboard?

Solution
Any time you add more memory you will need to reset the bios to default for the system to read the addition of new memory. Have you cleared the Cmos/reset the bios to default? No matter if this is the issue or not it still needs to be done.

Although I bought them at different times, since the cas latency and all was still the same, I thought they would work. After not working, I removed them all but a single module, so only one was in the system. This was one of the newer modules, and when it failed to post, I didn't understand why. The issue has been fixed now, so thanks a ton, I'm just disappointed that it didn't work, even with a single module in the system.
