Best type of mouse pad for a laser mouse?

I've been some upgrading recently and and got a new mouse. I need a new mouse mat/pad and found that there are two types of mouse pads/mats out there. The hard based and the cloth/fabric based pads. Which is better for a laser mouse.

PS i have a roccat nyth if that helps

The best mousepad in general is the SteelSeries Qck, nearly everybody has one from streamers to office workers. They're used for things like gaming tournemants because they help the mouse track well and are pretyy cheap. I've had mine for a while now and I love it, got it for £6 and it was money well spent. Offically the most popular pad for everyone since it came out...

Hmm thanks for your suggestion, I'm gonna pick the mini version since its a perfect size for my current setup and dirt cheap, I thought they were quite expensive. Thanks!

Im going to leave this thread open just in case anybody else has anything else to offer but will be closing it soon
