I would side with the Asus board simply because it has the connectivity I would need. Proper analogue audio outputs for multichannel audio(MSI would require you to use the front panel as well if you went with more than a 5.1 setup), Intel Lan(Realtek on the MSI) as well as the Aura lighting feature. but your preference's and mileage will vary. I forgot to add, the heatsink to cool the VRM's on the board(MSI's are naked IC's).
