So i was on my pc and i decided to turn my monitor portrait as it had that function.

I turned it and it was fine however i did notice the wire was extremely tense, the wire being the power cable. After i returned it to its normal orientation nothing happened but after 1-2 minutes my pc turned off. My guess is that it was loosened and eventually fell out.

My question is, will this damage my PC, a sudden stoppage of power. Nothing has been corrupted but i was wondering if my internal components could be damaged?

well you can tell if pc is messed up real bad or not functioning at all. This power interruption issue causes hardware problems and malfunctions so you should consider checking your system unit whenever the problem occurs to figure out what component inside has been messed up. It can, yes. Some hardware components might be damage for a sudden power cut off or interruption. Note that all of the components inside the system unit are functioning and if you're using your pc for hours with sudden stoppage of power, something inside could be burned, yeah, i experienced that once.

If something was fried, something wouldn't be working. If you can't find something that does not appear to be working correctly, then there most likely isn't anything fried.

As I wrote earlier, the likelihood of "frying" anything from randomly pulling the plug is very low. The most likely thing that might happen is some corrupted data if you happened to be writing data to HDD/SSD/USB when the power cut off.

But now that you're playing a game right with now no problem, then your unit is just fine maybe.. just avoid power interruptions again in the future.
