Connectors for my case fans.

I have a Zalman Z11 Plus pc case, inside i have a Corsair CS550m PSU and my motherboard is a Maximus VIII Ranger.
The mobo has 3 fan connectors which is fine however the case also has a rear fan and 2 side fans that have molex connectors. I have been told that i am able to get a cable that connects to my PSU that has Male molex connectors in series that i can connect to my rear and side fans. I was wondering if there is a specific name for this cable if anyone knows as for the life of me i cant think or find it. Thanks for the help.

There are many such adapters available.

For example see this link:

The key is two-fold:

1) Matching the physical connections. In your case female Molex on one end and the matching fan female connector on the other end.

2) Matching the pin voltages and grounds from end to end. Most are standardized but verify accordingly.

Probably will need at least one simple Molex splitter....

Once you have worked out the matching extension cable(s) then google the specific requirements to narrow down vendors/sources.

Buy from a known source and be sure that you understand the return policy if...
