Hello guys, im pretty new to the pc world, and lately I bought the new 1070 msi gaming x edition, which requires a dual width pci-express graphics slot.
My mother board doesn't have that, and even worse, my case doesn't have space for such a board.
I already know I need to switch a case for the new card to fit in my pc, but do I also have to buy a new Mobo?

Solution
Your graphics card should fit on there, it will overhang at the side and at the back of the motherboard but thats normal for such small motherboards......its just the case you will need to ensure can accommodate a long card and still give clearance for power connections to it and other items in the build that might be placed near the graphics card.

You shouldn't need a new motherboard. The graphics card will cover up some things next to the slot it plugs into, but that is not usually an issue. Some motherboards can be difficult to plug SATA cables into because the graphics card can cover the ports.

Thanks a lot! just to clear things up my motherboard is H170I-pro which is very small.

That ok?
I just really need to make sure because as I said i'm not an expert at all, so i will call a professional guy to pass all the hardware from the old case to the new one.
These guys take money just for coming and if there's any issue, the guy will take money and i'll be stuck and have to buy a new mobo and call him again :(
Thanks again!

Looks like the card you've chosen is 280mm in length and the power connections are at the top corner of the card facing upwards too, so make sure you find a case that can accommodate that size.
