Hello i have an intel core i3 2100 and a motherboard Asus P8H61-M LX i wanted to put some more ram becouse i have 4 gb can i put 8 gb ram 1600 mhz on this system? plz help me thanks

You can if your current RAM is only 1 stick as your motherboard only has two slots.

You need to try and match the speed and timing of the new RAM with your old RAM.

You can use CPU-Z to figure out the details of your current RAM

look i will put 2 dims of brand new rams 4x4 ram but the motherboard Asus P8H61-M LX rev x.0x is eligible to go on 1600 mhz or not? becouse is rev x.0x not rev 2

4x4 is two too many sticks still!

Your motherboard doesn't support faster than 1333MHz RAM so the 1600 MHz won't work or will simply run at 1333 MHz

Is your current RAM two sticks or one because if it's just one stick you might as well just buy another stick
