missing ram with 6800k

i just built a new pc that has a i7 6800k and a msi gaming 7 motherboard and i booted it and when i check the bios it says only 24gb of ram are installed however i installed all 4 8gb sticks to make it 32gb does anyone have any ideas as to why im having these issues?

re-seat all the ram. It's possible that you have a bad stick. Can you see which ram slots are populated in bios?

last slot does not have a stick detected

Swap third and fourth stick, and see if it's detected. If the stick in the third slot is un-detected, then that stick of ram is bad. If the fourth slot remains un-detected, then it may be a bad slot on the MB.
