Hello everyone,
I have my desktop connected directly to my modem/router.
Every so often (times seem random, can be once every hour or once every 20 mins) the connection will drop for 5-10 seconds, then resume to normal.
A list of things i have tested/tried that did not fix the problem
1) Switched Modem/Router (Had D-Link, now Sagemcom)
2) Switched ISP
3) Moved apartment (Not because of the problem, but it still persisted afterwards x: )
4) Switched network cable to a new one
5) Reinstalled drivers
6) Disabled power management for the device
7) Tried connecting another PC to the gateway, it also got disconnected
8) Downloaded all windows updates
Because of #7 i am leaning towards it being a problem with one of the device/driver settings, or Gateway settings themselves and not a problem with the PC, but i find it hard to believe that i had the same issue with 2 different gateways and they both had the problem.
Using Win10, have all the latest updates, MOBO is ASUSRampage V Extreme.
Would appreciate any new ideas and help you can give, i am running out of them.
