I updated to windows 10, and since then my microphone isnt working. It isnt something wrong with the device and im 100% sure of that. If I scream super loud or hit the microphone with my hand I can get a tiny tiny bit of sound to go through but it has to be excruciatingly loud. I use Realtek HD Audio Manager, and I have tried going to their website and re-downloading it. I have also check for driver updates in device manager. I also have uninstalled the microphone from device manager and reinstalled its driver. I know its not a device problem because I have tried with my Playstation Gold headset and my apple iphone 6s headphones; both with the same result, and my Playstation Gold headset works perfectly on my Play station. When I was reinstalling the newest Realtek driver I didnt have realtek installed on my computer during installation so I tried my microphone without it installed at all with no luck and only same result. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

The manufacturer of the microphone has not released a driver that is compatible with Windows 10. Without this the mic will not work properly. Try contacting the mic manufacturer for a driver; they may have something in the works that is not released yet, and is planned for release shortly.

However, if the mic is old tech the manufacturer may not have any plans to release a driver suitable for Win 10.

You certainly did the right things by checking for driver updates, and by uninstalling and re-installing the driver in Device Manager.
