So the problem comes down to my fans on my asus laptop. I noticed my pc suddenly being slow and my fans not running. I went to the Bios and set to default and everything was fine.

Now a week later my pc is doing something similar. When I startup my fan is working and it continues to run up until I log in. After login my fans will not run. If I am just in my BIOS my fan run fine indefinitely. Obviously my fan works since it runs normally up till login so I don't think is is any physical fan problem. I am at a loss as to what is going on. I assume that there is some sort of interference between my BIOS and something else. I have tried to set fan speed in my BIOS but I don't see any tab that has any such option so I assume my motherboard simply can't do that.

Any suggestions?

1| Are we talking about your laptop or your desktop?
2| Can you list both system's specs? Laptop SKU will do for that unit.
3| I think the common denominator is your OS, correct?
4| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
5| You may want to see if the same update has been applied to both your systems. If you're on Windows 10, please try a repair install and see if the issue is resolved.
