Hey, I plan to upgrade my current graphics card to a Radeon HD 7950. However, I am unsure if it would be fully compatible with my current PC.

I am currently running a Compaq Presario CQ5826. ( http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/Compaq-Presario-CQ5800-Desktop-PC-series/5080701/model/5180008/document/c03054469/ )

You'll need to get a 500 watt, 25 amp PSU, and I would also recommend adding 4GB RAM for 8GB total.

Note as well that the stock dimensions of the PSU in that system are 150mm x 140mm x 86mm (5.9 x 5.5 x 3.4 inches).

You may want to stick with a PSU that is pretty close to that in physical size, as those small brand name builds often don't have much room for such things.

That said, your CPU is pretty weak, so if you choose to go through with this, you're going to have a bottleneck because of that, and it will struggle in games that are meant to be played with a quad core.

You may want to consider waiting until you can afford to build an entire new PC, especially if you want to play current gen games.
