i5 4690k - stock speeds
ASUS H81M-K LGA 1150 MOBO
16 GB DDR3 2133 (under clocked to 1600 to match mobo)
650W gold rated EVGA PSU
EVGA GTX 1080 SC (slight OC with MSI Afterburn)
Running windows 7 and all game installs are on a SSD/ Fresh install of windows 7
Running 2K resolution on a Dell Gaming S2716DG 27.0" with GSYNC enabled. Low response time enabled.
that build is all brand new, I originally bought the MSI Gaming 5 Z97 mobo, but it came DOA so I picked up the cheap asus at a local shop until my replacement comes. I have the newest drivers. I don't know why I'm lagging, my frames don't drop significantly, but the game doesn't run smooth at all. I've only played overwatch, so far at 2K ress. on ultra settings with some settings turned down I get 90-140 FPS. but it stills feels choppy 70% of the time. My buddy has the same card but slightly better everything else, and he says he gets a smooth 140-190 FPS with maxed out settings. I scored a 4,900 on ugine valley 1.0 on 2560X1440 NO AA. online is shows people getting 5700 with the same card. I don't understand.
