Slow Downloads on everything but Steam. Someone Please Help Me

When I try to download something from Google, such as Minecraft, I can take up to 20 minutes to go through a 5 mb download. Steam downloads on the other hand, can go through a 5 mb download in a couple of seconds. Why is this?

I am using ethernet and Steam says my average download speed is 500kb/s. I have researched online and there is nothing. There is nothing in settings and I have used my Malwarebytes software to look for any viruses which could slow down my internet. Can someone please tell me if I'm overlooking something here?

See what a speedtest says, choose a city that's not on the other aside of the country but not right next door. https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

Also, what browser are you using, and have you checked it to be sure it is up to date? Have you looked to see if there are any add-ons installed on it that may be slowing you down?
