Hard Drive Make Sound

To be honest it doesn't sound normal to me. I can only speculate, but it sounds like the arm and/or the head might be scratching something while moving from time to time. Since the guys from the CS of the manufacturer don't know what that it is as well, I'd probably RMA them if I were you, just to be on the safe side.

Hey there, QUnixHardWare.

It does sound weird. It's really high pitched. I'd suggest that you test both drives with their manufacturer's diagnostic tool, to see if anything out of the ordinary pops-up. Perhaps getting in touch with their manufacturer's customer support could shed some light on what could be causing this sound.

Please let me know what are the results of the tests.

thanks boogieman for help :) yes unfortunately even support does not know what is problem they never heard sound like this and funny thing both harddrives sound like this :( but if i find any answer i let u know
