Sorry to post yet another "recommend me a card" thread, but I could use some opinions.

I have a 3-year-old PC which has naturally been left behind the curve as things have got faster. I'm no hardcore gamer but would like to be able to run some of the more recent games (GTA5 and the later Total War games in particular) with better detail, draw distances etc. I'm not expecting miracles, and I'm not really looking to upgrade the entire system, so I really want to know what graphics card would be a suitable upgrade without wasting too much money running up against bottlenecks. Any feedback gratefully appreciated.

Specs:
Procecssor: Intel Core i5-3570K @ 3.4GHz
System RAM: 16GB
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V LX
Operating system: Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit
Current graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1024MB
PSU: Corsair 600W

all you need is a gpu upgrade

get a gtx 1060 for great price/performance

if you have the money you could even jump up to a gtx 1070 no issues

you still have a very good build

maybe overclock the cpu for total war
