Hey all. I have recently done a clean install of windows 7 on my Lenovo Ideapad 500s-151SK Laptop. Everything seems fine during the installation process. However, none of the USB ports seems to be working after the installation. In Device Manager, I noticed that there are yellow signs indicating the USB drivers are not installed. I tried to manually install the drivers but it didn't work at all. I have a USB full of the relevant drivers needed to install, but I cannot do anything since none of the ports is working. Could you guys give me a hint on how to fix the problem?

Internet access and USB drivers are 2 separate issues. It sounds like you don't have ethernet or wifi drivers installed either, if you have no internet access. If you have the drivers on a thumb drive, install either the wife or ethernet driver to get network access, and then run windows updates. That will get most every update you need.

How am I supposed to go online if none of the drivers are installed? I have a USB thumb drive which contains all the necessary drivers, but I could not install them since the port isn't working....

I haven't encountered this problem before ( USB port not working after clean install), and I am completely puzzled...
