Hello and thank you very much for the help in advanced.

Motherboard: GIGABYTE F2A85X-D3H

Recently, our house was struck with lightning and got my monitor dead but the PC runs fine. The only problem with it was that the onboard LAN didn't work (checked the internet cables as well as the router, all are working fine) and I can't fine the network adapters present on the device manager was running, so I searched the web that might help bring it back.

After all those searching, I tried to "load optimized defaults" on the BIOS which resulted in the PC rebooting. Once it rebooted, nothing appeared as the monitor won't even present the GIGABYTE loading screen.

I've tried removing the CMOS battery and giving it a few minutes before placing it back but nothing happened.

I hope you can help me with this problem.

1| Please pass on your full system's specs as well as your OS.
2| Have you tried removing your CMOS battery and replacing it after 15-30 minutes?
3| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
4| It can very well be a case that your LAN port itself is damaged due to that lightning strike. You should take precautionary measure with a surge protector to prevent your new system from suffering the same fate.
5| Try booting with only one stick of ram(if you have a kit installed).
