Hi,

I'm trying to add memory modules to my desktop, but I've run into some issues.

It's a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P rev 2.x motherboard (Bios "FC"), with a AMD FX-8350 cpu, a Radeon R7 370 4GB, and two 4GB Corsair Vengeance Pro (CMY8GX3M2A1600C9) modules.

Running Windows 10 Education 64-bit.

I bought two Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 4GB (CML4GX3M1B1600C11) modules, but after install, the machine just keeps stalling and restarting.

With either of the module sets, everything is fine. Together, no luck.

I didn't had any problems with the PRO modules before this; but I can't seem to find any information on the LP modules, and I'm no good troubleshooting hardware.

Hardware is very expensive here, and I need those things to play nice with each other, if possible.

Can you guys give me a hand, please?

Thanks for your patience.

Samiel.

No joy. I made the change(s), modules connected, and all I've got was a bunch of blue screen messages.

(Zerk2012 solution first, then both)

Half a dozen like this, every time I did it again or chose repair, tried to start in secure mode.

As soon as a pair of modules got pulled, business as usual. Left the new ones running, working normally.

Put the voltage settings back to Auto, in the mean time.
