This is my first question on any forum i have ever asked so please bear with me gys as my question may sound dumb or complicated.

My question is what components on the GPU gets heated up when the gpu is in use ?
The reason i m asking this is because i use my GPUs at 100% load and they get heated around 90°C. i m looking to water cool it but the watercooling blocks are very expensive and hard to find the exact same waterblock which supports my GPU so i was thinking to use CPU water block to cool my GPU card ... i know that the main heating part in the Graphics Card is GPU chip but i assume something other than GPU chips also gets hot so apart from GPU chip what other components on the GPU gets hot ? and maximum how hot they can get ?

Solution
a GPU is essentially a mini computer.

It has a Central Processing Unit, this will generate a large amount of heat.
It has DIMMs, or RAM, these will get quite hot as well.
It has MOSFETs/FinFETS, or VRMs, these will get very hot under load.
It has a bunch of other chips that get hot too - a hand full of controllers and processors.

These other components are equally important and need to be cooled, that is why the water blocks are so card specific and expensive.
