So upgrading has caused an issue. So my Old 970 GTX card took two 6 pin pcie cables to power it. The new msi 1060 takes one 8 pin Pcie to power it. Now what... do I buy a two 6 pin to one 8 pin pcie to power it. Or do I get just a 6 pin to 8 pin adapter.......Help

I'm at work so I can't give you a model number. It's an older thermaltake power supply, it's modular(850 watt). The power supply has a 6+2, but that's powering the mother board. I have extra 6 pin pcie cables... i guess I could buy a cable with one end 6 pin and the other 8 pin and plug that into the psu and the 8 pin into the card. The two 6 pin cables that powered my old card aren't modular... they are hard wired in then psu.
