Just got a third HDD and when I go to disk management and try to initialize the disk I get this error message. I've never built a PC but I'm pretty sure I've plugged it in correctly because it's showing in disk managment. It's just not initializing for some reason :/

Solution
Hi there Big_Tuna_,

That is really unpleasant. :(

There are several things you can try:
- Attach the drive with different cables to another port. For example, you can take your secondary drive out and put the third drive in it's place. See if that would work.
- Test the drive with some of these: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
- Attach the drive to another system.

In case the issue persists after all these, then you should most probably RMA it.

Let me know how this goes,

Hey, thanks for the response :)
If I take make secondary drive out (Which has all my games and applications on) then plug it back in, will there be any problems or will just return to normal?
