I have a fairly new WD My Passport Ultra 1TB that I began using on a Macbook Pro and stored about 70GB of data on. Once I switched back to my PC laptop (Windows 10) it won't show me my data on it. It shows 930GB free so it obviously still has my data stored but it doesn't show up. I created a "new volume" in Disk Management but that is 128 MB of nothing. Can anyone please help me find my data? Thank you!

Well, @SirMelon has a point the Windows OS computer uses a different file system, than the one used on the Mac OS computer. I'd advise you to plug the WD My Passport to a Mac OS computer again and copy your files somewhere else, so that you are able to reformat it either on your Macbook or Windows laptop without losing your files.
If you plan to use the WD My Passport on both operating systems in the future, you will need to use a different file system when formatting the HDD. ExFAT/FAT32 are the ones that allow you to work with the drive (write/read data from it) on both Windows and Mac OS.
However, these file systems come with some file & partition size...

Run the program to save your data then reformat it how you so wish.
Formatting deletes everything on the drive!

I loaded the program but don't see anywhere to save data. Could you walk me through that? I appreciate you taking the time to help me!

On that link I sent is the instructions on how to use that software. Personally I've never needed to use it so I can't tell you much about it, I know about it but I don't deal with Macs. Make sure you have administrator privillages!

P.S. Using third-party utilities isn't really necessary, especially if they don't work properly.

Give these steps a try and let me know if you have more questions!
