I watched this video a few months ago (on a 1080p monitor) and was blown away:

Now I understand that it was originally created on a 4k resolution and the video is best viewed on a 4k monitor. But I have never seen it on a 4k screen, and I thought watching the video in 1080p was life like.
I recently upgraded to a GTX 1070 and have a 1080p monitor at home. I put Battlefront on ultra graphics settings, installed the SweetFX real life mod, and it runs at 80+ FPS. It looks good, but it doesnt look as good as the video.
Since I was watching the video in 1080p all along I thought it would look the same when I play it on 1080p, but it doesn't.
Am I missing something?
