Odd question, but is a AMD 5770 HD compatible with Z170A motherboards and Skylake processors?

I'm planning on building a new PC to replace my old PC of 9 or so years (Intel core duo times), but due to money limitations and not wanting to compromise other components in favoure of adding a new GPU as well as awaitng news on AMDs Vega and Nvidias Volta (supposedly some time in 2017), I wish to keep my AMD 5770 HD for the time being .

As I am planning on going with a MSI Z170A Gaming G45 mother board and a i7 core 6700K processor, I'm worried that the AMD 5770 HD might not be compatible.
While the site pcpartpicker, says that there should be no issues I'm still worried as the official site for the motherboard does not list any of AMDs 5700 series cards only going from 6400 series (6450 to be specific) onwards.

Solution
Your question should be "Are there drives for the OS I am going to put on that Z170 build"? From hardware point if view, you should'nt have problems (unless your GPU happens to be AGP).

As far as I know the 5770 should be a PCIe slot GPU (PCI Express 2.1 x16 according to AMD official site), so from a hardware asspect it should be fine.
If it's only a OS thing then that should not be an issue as I intend to use Win7 which I am already running on the the old PC.

As this would be my first self built PC I am still trying to get all the info I need as to not screw up anything.

Anyways thank you for the answer.
