Hello everyone, i'm contemplating the idea of gaming pc, i'm looking for a build able to play Witcher 3, DA:I and cover me for the best titles for the next 2-3 years "Mass Effect: Andromeda for example"
i rarely play fps games "motion sickness, what a curse" and i do want to be able to play on high settings, but i don't won't to over do it with the cost either
i'm in Saudi Arabia (don't worry about the high temperatures, you can't live here without an AC 24/7) and will be ordering the parts, so the country is not an issue
as for the budget i don't wont to go over 1100 dollars, i already had a build in mind, but since i'm new to this i fear i missed something, take a look please:

will this do?
thanks

Here is what I suggest if you're not overclocking.
Let me know if this is not the case.
It is my standard 1k 1070 build with a few upgrades in terms of cooler, motherboard and case.

A few notes. Your cpu is an overclockable cpu, Your motherboard is not able to overclock the cpu. You need to either select a non oc Cpu such as the i5 6500 or 6600 non K. Or get a z170 Motherboard.
Id also advise on getting a monitor with a refresh rate higher then 60Hz something around 120 an 144hz will be Perfect as that 1060 will on a good amount of games push past 60Fps.

Their price includes the cost of windows an monitor as well. So its more a 900ish build for the parts alone.

You mean more around 800. A 144hz monitor, which is what you want, costs $249 for a good entry level one.
I'll plan around this and get a build back to you. :)

Here's what you want.

thanks a lot everyone, and forgave the amateur question: i don't plan on overclocking but i still rather have an i5 3.5GHz over 3.2GHz, are all the 3.5GHz oc?

i feel the 3.5 will keep me more on the safe side when it comes to being able to play games on higher setting, that's what i gathered at least

and regarding the memory, i looked over some of the most demanding games and didn't find one that require 16gb ram, is it really necessary? if i go with 8gb ram could i find myself regretting it?

Not sure what you're saying! :)
Are you referring to base clock speeds?
It doesn't really matter, as that is a very minimal increase in performance, and the 6500 and 6600 turbo boost to the same frequency regardless.
Better value to get the 6500 unless there is only say a $10 difference between the two.
16GB is quickly becoming the standard recommended spec for modern titles, 8GB would have been the way to go a few years ago, but as of late 16GB has become the norm.

Edit: Here is an example of what I mean. Your GPU is a little more powerful than a 970 for reference.

Given the power of your system, I would go with 16GB regardless. :)

Some games out right now do req more then 8GB like no mans sky minimum ram req is 8GB. 16GB is to future proof an also helpful if you like running other programs besides the 1 game.
Also the i6500 is 3.2GHz but it has turbo boost which will bump it up to 3.6GHz when your using it.
