My friend has a Alienware x51 that we are going to move the CPU, graphics card, memory, ect into a mid tower ATX case. We are getting a new motherboard for it and I'm not 100% sure if I've got the right socket. The CPU is an Intel 3770 and from what i can tell it is a LGA1155. But some google searches provided some conflicting information saying that it may be a LGA1150.
I guess I'm just asking for a confirmation that is is truly a LGA1155 before i go ahead and order a MOBO.
