F_Panel Compatibility Problem

Case: 6K28BB8F
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-H
I'm building my first PC build and the Power LED connector has 3 pins/wires but on the F_Panel it shows 2 spots for PLED. What should I do? Thanks in advance

Most of the wires are labelled + and -. If the 3rd wire isn't labelled, dont connect it

There are 3 spots to connect to 3 pins. They are all connected and aligned. The first is positive (green) and the third, last one is white, and negative. The middle second one does not have a connector/wire in it. Sorry if that was confusing.

Connect the green and white one. Soon find out later if it's right the led will light up. Once you've assembled it and installed something on the hdd

Its some crappy generic case. Im not sure of the manufacturer because it doesnt list one but its model number is 6K28BB8F just look that up and it should come up, or something like "6k28bb8f case"

If you mean a plug like what you see on a 3-4 pin case fan, use a sharp knife cut it down the middle.

So there's 2 separate connectors. Just watch that you dont cut the wires in the process

If it's like a case fan connector use a small screwdriver / knife with a sharp edge.

Press down on the connection it's got like a clip on it.. then pull the wire out. Put it in the 2nd connector until you hear it click in.

You'll get there ! Easier option cut the middle connector and have 2 separate connectors.

It already is 2 separate wires with one connector. Im starting to think i should just cut one of the wires to put into the second/middle connector slot.

If you cut it you'll need another connector for the end of it

No but if you cut a wire then it wont stay in the connector obviously if you plug it into the other connector. Can you post a pic of what you have now
