Different Ram and Different Speeds

I have 8gb 1600mhz of ram and was wondering if i could use another 8gb 1333mhz of with it. They are both different brands. I just have this ram laying around and want to use it for something.

No you can not. It needs to be the same brand/speed. RAM are sold in a kit for a reason

Worst thing is they won't play. If they do can prob run at 1333, and possibly 1600

It might work together or it might not. You might have to manually set the speed to 1333Mhz. It is pretty iffy, best way to find out is to try it and then do some memory test to make sure it is stable. I have mixed Ram many times before and it is basically luck of the draw if it will work. Best practice is of course to get all the RAM in the same kit.
