What do i have to do software wise when changing a motherboard?

Can someone walk me thru every single step in replacing your motherboard? Im a noob i know
I know how to physically take everything out and put it back in, but what about software wise? I know i probably have to reinstall windows and buy the licence again but what else?

You will probably need to do a full reinstall of everything as Windows license is connected to the motherboard, which also means buying a new Windows key.

On top of that you will need to install all the relevant motherboard drivers (usually get a disk with them).
