Hi Guys,

I support a small office with 10 staff, 6 of them being sales guys so they aren't in the office much. I would like to have an automated backup software installed on their PC so that when they plug in the external backup drive (dedicated for backups only) the backup process will automatically start with no user intervention.

My question is what software can can you guys recommend? I am basically backing up .pst files, general docs, pictures, pdf's etc.

Solution
RollBack Rx has a means of creating event driven tasks. Only thing is, it's only triggered by executables and of course Rollback Rx is a snapshot tool, not a disk imager. Either way, may be a good fit.

I see multiple issues with this concept.
1. SalesGuy A comes in, plugs in the drive, it syncs.
Meanwhile, SalesGuy B-J can't sync anything.

2. What happens to changes in the .pst after the initial sync?

3. What happens when (not if) someone drops that drive?

4. What happens SalesGuy C plugs in his virused up laptop, and infects the entire drive?

Why is this backup not being done over the LAN, to a basic server box?
