Im building a new system and I already have some 3-pin fans. Connecting them on the 4-pin headers would make them run at full speed (too noisy), but I would rather not buy some new PWM ones.
I know that speed control on 3-pin can be done through software but I would rather not have extra programs running, and I read somewhere that there are motherboards with voltage regulation mode in bios that will allow me to do so.
I'm building on Z170 platform and the mobo definitely needs to support 2-way sli and m.2 socket, preferably under 200$
Thanks in advance
