I cannot format my Samsung 850 EVO SSD with Windows 7. I use diskpart on it and it says it changed the partition to GPT, but when I try to install Windows 7 it still gives me the non GPT partition error. I need help. I have been trying for a long time and I can't find a solution.

Is windows 7 32bit or 64bit?

Only 64bit Win 7 can boot off gpt drives, if you have win 7 32 bit you will need to swap the BIOS in your PC to Legacy boot and delete everything on drive so its just unallocated space, or just wipe the entire drive as part of the win 7 installation: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1649-clean-install-windows-7-a.html

if its win 7 64bit, try deleting all the partitions on drive and just leave unallocated space and then click next on the installer. See the clean install link above for details.
