Should this upgrade work?

Hello everyone. I'm writing this post because I'm seriously considering upgrading my PC. I currently own a HP Pavilion 500-326na, some specifications can be found here http://support.hp.com/ie-en/document/c04341331

Essentially, it's equipped with an AMD A8-6500 processor, an r7 240 graphics card and 6GB of RAM on an MSI microATX AMD board. Also included is a 1TB hard drive, which I've been using for almost 2 years. Not sure what brand the hard drive is. As you can tell, not ideal for the gaming that I spend so much time doing.

You might think after reading the PC specifications on the link I sent that it's near impossible to upgrade due to a 180W external power supply. Well it seems that isn't the case, because strangely even though I have the same model as the one linked, I see no power brick, just a cable directly from the back of the PC to the power socket.

So I'm wondering would these upgrades be possible:

Just want to know should this work fine or do you think there will be cooling problems etc? Thanks.
