Hi,

I've recently bought a i5-6400 for a personal build that I'm trying to put together. I've been looking at the cheapest possible boards but they all seem around the £60-65 mark (I'm from the UK). It's going in a thermaltake V1. I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations on what to get, I'm a novice at PC building. I'm planning on using the PC for general use including light gaming and design work. Regarding chipsets are b150n not for gaming use? Thanks, comments would be appreciated

That price is the bottom of the barrel so you are already as low as you can go price wise. You'd have to find a used one or some random sale to get it any cheaper.

an article about the different chipsets from Intel. But basically the H110 is the bargain model for consumers and the B150 is the bargain model for businesses. Very little difference between the two. Though the B150 is maybe slightly better but not enough that a user would ever actually notice the difference between them. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/intel-100-series-chipsets,29993.html

Most any ITX lga1151 motherboard will do from a performance point of view.

One caveat is to consider your internet attachment needs. You are ok with a lan connection on anything.
But a ITX motherboard will not have any extra slots for a add in strong wifi card
USB dongles will work, but they are weak.
The motherboards with wifi included tend to be more expensive.
