How to disable individual cores on an Intel i7-3770 CPU

I have an i7-3770 and am getting random game crashes, and when looking at the Windows event log I see I am getting parity errors on CPU cores 4 and 5. To combat the issue, I have temporarily set the Windows boot options to only use the first 3 out of the 8 cores on my processor. This seems to have fixed the issue (no more crashes in my games), but is there any way I could disable just cores 4 and 5 instead of 4 through 8?

I checked the BIOS, it only allows me to enable/disable Hyperthreading, or select the total number of cores (like Windows).

Ah well, guess I will just stick with 3 cores for now until my next upgrade.
