I've been looking everywhere for a solution on the mesh/sleeve on my 24 pin connector. I need to remove it because it's to big to put my cable management panel on. I plan on taking it off and flattening the cables. I have the anidees ai crystal which has no room for cable management. Can I remove it or will it damage the connector?

As lon g as you don't cut any of the wires underneath, it is fine to remove the sheath. It's only there for looks and to keep the wires together. I've had to do similar on some tight builds.

Just saw this on Linus' channel the yesterday - less than a half inch for cable management - and you have to fit the tempered glass panel on too. Around the 4:55 mark - it's tiny!

The look pretty sketchy, with almost clones (albeit lesser quality) of known products.

The cables themselves can be individually sleeved. I don't see any reason that you couldn't remove the 'mesh', but be careful not to cut into any wires when removing it.
