Hi im really frustrated. I bought another gtx 760 and its not able to crossfire. I have switched the sli bridge on both sides and turned them around nothing happens still. I also have deleted drivers and reinstalled them. I have no idea what to do anymore i have done like every fix. There is only 2 graphics cards in the slot. Nothing else. The bottom one is running at x4. I even bought another sli bridge. Can someone please help me? Im 14 and cant afford to pay for anymore things.

Solution

To run 2 GTX 760 in SLI, you need a motherboard that can support SLI. Not all motherboard can support SLI as it requires 2 pcie x16 slots to run in X8/X8 mode.
What your motherboard supports X16/X4 mode which is only sufficient for crossfire but not SLI.
SLI and crossfire are different from each other. Crossfire is for running two or more AMD graphic cards.
Just having two GTX 760 and the SLI bridge does not mean you can run them in SLI.
SLI is different from crossfire.
To be able to SLI, you also need the motherboard to support SLI.
For two way SLI, the motherboard need to have two pcie 2.0/3.0 that can run in X8/X8 or X16/X16 mode. If you had to buy a SLI bridge and none are provided with your motherboard, your motherboard will does not support sli then. So you cannot run SLI.

Is there no hope? I see other ppl running crossfire with this mobo. Is there a way i can change the second slot to x8?

Crossfire is for amd graphic cards. SLi is for Nvidia. No you cannot change your motherboard to support SLI.
