I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong area this is my first thread and it looks like the forum rules page is down. But! Here's the situation, my friend would like me to build him a gaming computer. He set a budget of $700 with the stipulation he would like the build to be somewhat portable. Here is what I've put together so far. Please feel free to give me some critiques.

CPU - Skylake i5-6500
Mobo - Gigabyte GA-170N-WIFI Mini-ITX
RAM - 8GB 1 stick of G.Skill DDR4 clocked at 2400
GPU - RX 480 (Which ever is available at time of purchase for a good price.)
Case - Cooler Master Elite 130
PSU - EVGA 500W Bronze
SSD/HDD - Already has them with Windows 10.

I'm not thrilled spending almost the same amount of money on the CPU as the GPU in a purely gaming build but its 2016 and the thought of a dual core i3 just doesn't sit right with me. Also I would like the PSU to be modular but the price difference is hard to justify so I'll just need to get creative with cable management. Finally my only other thought is I could save $20 going with the H170 version of the board seeing as we didn't opt for a K series processor. But I feel comfortable spending an extra $20 to give him that option in the future if and when he decides to upgrade his CPU.
