Hello, guys. I currently have a i5 4690k and it is incapable of recording at 1080p 60FPS. So I want to upgrade my motherboard to either a 4790k or a 6700k.
I have read that the 6700k will outperform the 4790k, but is it really worth the extra money for the necessary motherboard and RAM upgrades? I would get the i7 4790k for the price, but I am worried that it will not be able to handle flawless streaming at 1080p 60FPS- some people say it will, others say it won't. However, I have yet to read someone say that the 6700k will have troubles recording at that quality. The 6700k will cost me an extra $120 (I am going to upgrade my RAM either CPU I choose.) Will the 6700k guarantee better results than the 4790k? Will the 4790k be able to handle the recording quality I want?
