looking for external Hard disk 4tb or 5tb

Hey plzz suggest me to buy 4tb or 5tb external hard disk seagate or western digital. I want a hard drive that lasts long and won't fail on me. So, please help me choose between the two drives.

There's negligible difference. Go with whichever is cheapest, and keep it in a safe place that it can't fall from.

Also, as always, keep a good offsite backup.

there is few drawbacks of external hard disk (you have to take care) but ive heard wd more delicate compared to seagate so i want to know a conformation as which will last long

It's really impossible to say what brand will last the longest, overall, I'd go with WD over Seagate myself. Treat every drive like it will fail tomorrow and you will be safe with your data. If this is a drive for storage not backup, make sure you have a backup drive along with this one also.

if a 5tb crashes all data gone i would choose Seagate back up plus 4tb external drive as they are very reliable they come with a power cord but only thing is you must be careful while handling the drives .
