My WiFi got upgraded to 150 MBPS. But my ping in CS:GO got worse. On my old 25 MBPS I could get 20-50 ping. But now with the upgrade I am getting 90-120 ping. Is the problem that my WiFi adapter isn't dual band or what is the problem. I am currently using a D-Link N150 USB WiFi adapter.

im thinking from what you wrote, is that you have to much interferrence. if you live in a aprtment complex you might need to change the chanal on your router to somthing difrent than 11, and then on your adapter make sure nothing is blocking it like a computer or a TV, and switch it to use only 5000 or only 2.4

you have DSL, and in addition to that i just did a quick research and shaw itself is not a very good provider. i take it you had cable before and i would cancel your contract while you still can because it will only get worse. im very sorry to tell you that. you should try to run some speed tests, from what i have read they seriously throttle your "advertised" upload speed. and that is why you have such high pings.

The ping when I do a network test stays around 10-20. The download of all of my devices is around 100. My modem is AC so I am thinking that I should get a AC adapter. The interference is only one wall. My WiFi adapter is on the other side of the wall. My computer when I do the test is 15 Mbps down and 8 up.
