This thread that has no solution is my exact problem.
Basically, ever since my Cox installed the Netgear C6300BD, I have been getting brief 2-3 second ping spikes of 500+ ping every 1 minute or so. I did the command prompt ping test to google and then to the router on a wired and a cabled connection and got the same ping spikes. I called my Cox and they had me install a range extender, even though the problem persist on an Ethernet connection, that did nothing.
I've searched through many forums and also created threads on other websites and had no luck. I would really like to know if and how I can fix this.
