I`ve bought a new ram stick: ADATA 1600 mhz.

On the first day,I have faced no issues but when I tried to turn on the pc,lcd never turned on.Then I cleaned all components and yet no luck.At last I removed the new ram, then the pc runs fine...

before buying the ram,i`ve read many threads saying that there will be no issues but here the result is opposite....

Please tell me whether the RAM stick becomes faulty or it is not compatible with motherboard?
(My motherboard have support for 1066 and 1333 Mhz RAM....)

Your know that your motherboard supports dual-channel, yet you bought only one stick? Why? Your motherboard (which you haven't even told us the name of) is not going to necessarily have a fail-safe for every screwed-up configuration you throw at it.

I just don't get it when people purposely do things the wrong way and expect others to leap to their aid.
