Hello everyone,
i'm having this issue with my Samsung ssd 950 pro m.2 the 512gb version
When i run test at Samsung magician it gives me the original writing and reading speeds which is somewhere close to 2500mb\s read and 1500mb\s write but when i wanna move a file from folder to another ( into the ssd itself not to a usb or any other storage device ) I get between 500mb\s to 650mb\s writing speed.
And my pc start up is slow not even as fast as a normal SSD, Something is really wrong.
Notice: my 950 pro is connected to an M.2 spot .
PC Specs :
CPU : intel core i7 6800k 3.4ghz
MB : Asus rog strix x99
RAM : Corsair dominator 3200mhz 16GBs
GPU : Gigabyte GTX 1080 xtreme gaming premium pack
Some people say that it's because my motherboard's M.2 is not PCIe 3.0 x4 and it's a problem of Lanes and that I need an M.2 PCI-e extension. But then how the Samsung magician shows full read and write spead ?
And btw where do I get that M.2 PCI-e extension what is it called anyway?
I hope u really can help me guys i'm depending on the experts here.
Thank you.
